Withdrawal Policy

Some authors request the withdrawal of articles from the publication process after submission. While a few retraction requests are made on the same day of submission, many occur much later — often when the article has already undergone significant editorial processing or is scheduled for publication. Such withdrawals result in wasted time, effort, and resources, including the valuable contributions of editors, reviewers, and journal staff.

To minimize the occurrence of unnecessary withdrawals, Aditum Publishers kindly urges authors — especially the first and corresponding authors — to carefully consider the following before submitting their manuscript:

  • Ensure that all listed authors have agreed to the manuscript’s submission and are aware of its content.
  • Confirm that the manuscript is original, complete, and ready for peer review.
  • Avoid simultaneous submissions to other journals.
  • Review all ethical and technical guidelines provided by the journal to ensure full compliance.
  • Secure all necessary institutional or funding approvals prior to submission.

Once submitted, withdrawal requests must include a detailed explanation and must be approved by the editorial office. Aditum Publishers reserves the right to reject a withdrawal request if the reasons are not ethically or academically justified.
