Orthopaedics and Traumatology Journal (OTJ) is an international authoritative and comprehensive peer reviewed online Open Access Journal that cover all aspects of clinical and basic research studies related to orthopedic research and surgery. The journal endeavor to be a forum or the rapid publication of high quality research information on the wide spectrum of orthopaedic research, translational, and clinical studies for the communication and exchange of ideas in scientific society. Journal encompasses sub-specialties like: arthroscopy, arthritis, Physiotherapy, acupuncture, osteoporosis, sports injuries, bone tumor, pediatric orthopedics, hip replacement, sports medicine, trauma, spine and spinal deformities, pediatric orthopedics, limb reconstruction procedures, hand surgery, orthopedic oncology, Kinesiology, etc.

The journal publishes original papers/research articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, opinions, letter to editors etc., reporting basic research or clinical applications in the field of orthopedic research and orthopedic surgery. The endeavor of the journal is to distribute and disseminate information between all authorities that work in the field of Orthopaedics.

The journal picks up the pace to top quality articles which are an outcome from dynamic peer review process. We follow double blind peer review process which remains confidential and the identities of the reviewers and the authors are not revealed. Editorial Board Members of JORS or outside experts related to the field carry out the review process; at least two independent reviewer’s approval followed by the editor decision is required for the acceptance of any citable manuscript.

OTJ strongly supports the Open Access initiative and follows the COPE guidelines. All published articles will be assigned DOI provided by the Cross Ref.

This is an online open access bimonthly journal, and all articles published under this are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial-Share A like 4.0 License, which allows others to remix, share, tweak, and build upon the work non-commercially, as long as proper credit is given and the new conception are licensed under the identical terms.

Ahead of Print policy:

Articles published online under the Ahead of Print models are regarded as published and can be cited and quoted using the DOI as the reference source or with citation provided for every article. Aditum has a policy that corrections will not be made after publication of an article online without following accepted measures for making necessary corrections to the scientific record.
