Journal of Ophthalmology and Vision Care (JOVC) is an international authoritative and comprehensive scientific online open access, peer-reviewed bimonthly and rapid publication journal. Journal is designed and intended for to ophthalmologists and visual science specialists by publishing clinical and basic science research and other relevant manuscripts that relate to the sense of vision, preclinical, clinical, observational, health outcomes study in the region of ophthalmology, ophthalmological therapies, devices, and surgical techniques, results of clinical trials and research findings.

JOVC aims to encourage ophthalmologists, visual science specialists, scholars, researchers, academicians to publish their novel findings or outcomes in an open access podium with no restriction on the length of the papers so that complete article information provided by the author should facilitate in better understanding to the scientific community and readers.

We accept research articles, review articles, case reports, case series, editorials, methodological clinical approaches, design and goals of clinical trials covering regional issues in a global context. The journal picks up the pace to top quality articles which are an outcome from dynamic peer review process. We follow double blind peer review process which remains confidential and the identities of the reviewers and the authors are not revealed. Editorial Board Members of JOVC or outside experts related to the field carry out the review process; at least two independent reviewer’s approval followed by the editor decision is required for the acceptance of any citable manuscript.

JOVC strongly supports the Open Access initiative and follows the COPE guidelines. All published articles will be assigned DOI provided by the Cross Ref.

Ahead of Print policy:

Articles published online under the Ahead of Print models are regarded as published and can be cited and quoted using the DOI as the reference source or with citation provided for every article. Aditum has a policy that corrections will not be made after publication of an article online without following accepted measures for making necessary corrections to the scientific record.
