Endocrinology and Surgical Endocrinology : Open Access

About the Journal

Endocrinology and Surgical Endocrinology (ESE) is an indexed, peer-reviewed bimonthly open access journal and aims to publish the most complete and reliable source of information on the discoveries and current developments in the mode of original articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, etc. in all areas of endocrinology and surgical endocrinology and making them available online freely without any restrictions or any other subscriptions to researchers worldwide.

The journal adheres to a double blind peer review process. Review processing is performed by the editorial board members or outside expert reviewers within the field of endocrinology; at least two independent reviewers approval followed by editor approval is considered for acceptance of any citable manuscript. Authors may submit manuscripts and coordinate with the editorial coordinator of respective journal for updates and status of the articles submitted, hopefully to publication. Editors can manage the whole submission/review/revise/publish process.

The aim of the ESE is to enhance knowledge, benefit readers, authors and the surgeons in understanding advanced research in the field of endocrinology and the surgical methods act upon on endocrine glands to achieve a hormonal or anti-hormonal effect in the body and promote better management of patients with endocrinological disorders.

To achieve this goal, the journal publishes original research papers, case reports, review articles, letters to the editor, short communication, clinical trials, book review, and meeting summary and commentaries on human, animal and cell culture studies relevant to endocrinology.

The following categories are the main areas of interest: clinical care, epidemiology, pathophysiology and complications, animal and cell culture studies promoting the science of endocrinology. Submissions addressing different aspects of endocrine disorders, experimental and clinical research on endocrinology, hormonal imbalance and related metabolic disorders and their management are welcomed.

Articles published in this journal are subjected to rigorous peer review and revision process before being accepted for publication, to maintain quality and the standards set for academic journals. This Journal ensures the barrier-free distribution of its content through online free access and thus helps in improving the citations for authors and attaining a good impact factor.

The journal particularly welcomes interdisciplinary and compositional research, studies that produce new methodical observation into hormone activities, other endocrine associated aspects, research in sex transformations and similarities throughout the disciplines of endocrinology and metabolism.

All articles submitted by authors to the Aditum Journals are evaluated by editorial board members and reviewers in the field confirming that the published articles are of high quality and that the content they enclose is precise and trustworthy.
